Day 1

  • Once you arrive, head down the street to Api Beach Restaurant for lunch, and you will get your first glimpse of the marina. The private cabana area is $10 per person, but the restaurant’s pool and lounge chair areas are free – assuming you buy drinks and or food; passion fruit margaritas and Presidente beer are local favorites.  It’s time to drive to the LAS CANAS MARKET PLACE, here you can buy bottled water, ice, coffee, groceries and alcohol for your stay (for deliveries 809-469-7591).  Tonight, head out to the Marina Norte for dinner. We recommend DOLCE ITALIA for Italian food and a glass of wine. DOLCE is an openair restaurant with reasonable prices. Finish the night back at the apartment, there are family games stored in the box table by the terrace doors. There is also an ATARI gaming console for “old school” fun.

Day 2

  • Today is your first day to enjoy the pools and beach, we have provided a small cooler and towels for your convenience.  We recommend SOPRANOS for lunch, It’s located up the street at the Marina; its open from 11pm-9pm Tuesday- Sunday (809 469-7666). After a day at the pool, opt for a late afternoon nap or slip down to the channel (just outside your front door) for some snook/tarpon fishing.  Dinner will be at AURA, an open-air restaurant overlooking the water at Cap Cana Marina. AURA has Santorini vibe and features Mediterranean cuisine. Reservation requirements will be based on the time of the year and your dining time; Cap Cana is generally a late bite – after 8:00pm.

Day 3

  • Its JUANILLO BEACH day – you will be swimming, relaxing on sun loungers, and listening to DJ music as the beach servers keep you satisfied. Bring cash (at least $30 per person) and don’t forget the suntan lotion! JUANILLO has separate sections for hotel guests and owners (you), so pay attention before you sit. While there are a variety of food and drinks available, that shouldn’t stop you from bringing your own; save your cash for dinner!  As far as bathrooms, there are clean facilities available along the beach, don’t worry. This will be long day in the sun, so be ready for a late afternoon nap. This evening, we recommend dinner at BOHEMIAN Tapas and wine bar (Marina Norte), International cuisine with a variety of wines and a cigar lounge.

Day 4

  • Golf Day – head out early to the PUNTA ESPADA GOLF CLUB. If you plan this correctly, an early tee time will allow you to be at the beach by lunch time. If you have a car, you can also book the PUNTA CANA RESORT “la Cana golf club” outside of Cap Cana.  Bring a bag and stick around their pool and beach area for lunch.  Tonight, we recommend BARBUDO for dinner. European and Mediterranean cuisine with great service. On Thursday bring your bottle of wine, its BYOB. Make sure you make reservations 809 543-2697 – this restaurant is always packed after 7:00.

Day 5

  • Lake day, after breakfast you will be driving down the block to LAGO AZUL. This is a beautiful crystalline lake that is a local hot spot. It features lunch trucks, DJ music and water toys. This afternoon, book a cigar class at VIVALDI CIGARS (849-207-3881)!  The Dominican Republic is a major producer of cigars and has some of the best in the world. VIVALDI offers a private cigar class and tour; you’ll be taking home a box for sure.  Dinner tonight will at EL PORTICO, in the center of Marina Norte.  If you have a car, you can always drive to Punta Cana Village right outside of Cap Cana. This is a very “family Oriented” area, very active between 6:30 and 9:00pm, featuring too many restaurants to list!

Day 6

  • Morayma, your host, can book a “SCAPE PARK” excursion for you today (please give her advanced notice). This is a full featured action park located within CAP CANA. This will be a long day, so why not take a long nap in the afternoon to get ready for this evening. Tonight, you will be eating at RESTAURANTE NAKAMURA (Peruvian/Sushi), followed by a visit to the CASINO DOMINIC next door:  https://casinodominic.do/
